St Hugh’s is very pleased to announce that the Mary Renault 2020 essay competition is now open for submissions. The deadline for essay submissions is 5pm on Friday 24th July 2020. The Mary Renault Prize is a Classical Reception essay prize for school or college sixth form pupils, awarded by the Principal and Fellows of St Hugh’s College, and funded by the royalties from Mary Renault’s.
OPEN DAYS 2020 Unfortunately the in-person Open Days scheduled for Wednesday 1 July and Thursday 2 July have been cancelled. There will be Virtual Open Day events scheduled for those days. More details will be released here soon. Currently the Open Day on Friday 18 September is scheduled to go ahead as planned. This will be confirmed in the next few months.
The first day of this free residential (meals and accommodation included) will involve legal workshops at Corpus Christi College led by legal academics, with opportunities to meet and chat to current undergraduate law students.
